Description
Hyssopus officinalis
Is a semi- evergreen bushy aromatic perennial that grows to about 0.5m tall and has beautiful bluey purple flowers and scented leaves. It likes a moist, but well drained soil and plenty of light in the garden.
It is a warming herb to use during colds, flus and fever. It's a traditional cough remedy and also helps support the digestive system.
It can be used fresh as a tea or dried for later use, or made into a tincture or syrup.
